The Songkran Festival in Thailand is not all about water splashing and having fun. To celebrate Sonkran Festival in local ways, we will take you to visit local temples to make merit and form a sand pagodas just as what Thai people always did every year. They do this in order to receive a blessing and good luck for the new year.
Your first stop will be Wat Arun,also called "The Dawn Temple", which is belong to an immense stupa. You guide will escort you to join series of activities here.You will carry sand to the temple and form sand pagodas in any design and with any decorations you like.Continue you will watch the bathing rites of Buddha images and join the merit making activities.
The most exciting water battle time will start after your temples visit, you will take a local Tuk Tuk and enjoy your water fight along the road with locals and other new friends.To continue your of water fight,your last stop will be Silom Road.This 5 km length street is packed on two levels with thousands of young Thais and tourists carrying anything that can spray water.The highlight is to spot the firetrucks ambushed at each intersection with their incredibly powerful water hoses.If you don't want to get wet anymore,you can stay on the BTS sky walk that runs above the streeten to ejoy the party where is a relatively dry surroundings. From up there you can witness the full extent of the game.

08:30am Pick up at your hotel;
09:00am-10:00am Wat Arun, Carry sand to temples and form sand pagodas, Watch bathing rites of Buddha images, merit making activities;
11:30am-12:30pm Take the ferry for lunch time at Wang Lang Pier;
12:30pm-13:30pm Free time to enjoy entertaining events in city;
13:30pm-14:30pm water battle via tuk tuk;
14:30pm-16:00pm Silom Road, end of tour (transfer to hotel is on own arrangement).
