Shibuya Crossing:It is an unquestioned must-visit for any trip to Tokyo. The sprawling scramble intersection just outside Shibuya Station is an embodiment of Tokyo itself: action in all directions. Three huge television screens mounted on the buildings facing the intersection flash all day, while the rest of the area is covered with lights, advertisements, and more lights.

Shibuya hachiko:one of Japan's unofficial landmarks, the Hachiko statue in Shibuya is a homage to the faithful Akita dog who waited at Shibuya Station every day for his master, even after his death. Today, it’s one of the most popular meeting places in Tokyo.

Meiji Jingu Shrine:Meiji Shrine is a shrine dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his consort, Empress Shoken. Located just beside the JR Yamanote Line's busy Harajuku Station, Meiji Shrine and the adjacent Yoyogi Park make up a large forested area within the densely built-up city. Yokohama Chinatown:Yokohama Chinatown ( Yokohama Chūkagai) is Japan's largest Chinatown, located in central Yokohama. A large number of Chinese stores and restaurants can be found in the narrow and colorful streets of Chinatown. Various events and festivals such as Chinese New Year around the beginning of February are also held at Chinatown.

Odawara Castle:Odawara Castle was originally built in the mid 15th century and soon fell into the hands of the Hojo Clan, one of the most powerful clans during the Warring States Era who used it as a base to control the region around modern day Tokyo.   In 1590, Toyotomi Hideyoshi attacked the castle, and with the defeat of the Hojo Clan, reunited Japan.Today it is the closest castle keep to Tokyo.

Day 5 - Mt.Fuji&Hakone Family Tour&Tranfer Nagoya by Shikansen | Lake Ashino, Hakone Pirate Ship, Owakudani

Hakone is the most popular tourist attraction in the Kanto region. "Hakone Day Tour" will take you to Lake Ashino to take the "Hakone Pirate Ship" to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mt. Fuji and the lake, and then take the "Hakone Ropeway" to Owakudani. The scenery along the way is pleasing to the eye . Owakudani, left over from a volcanic eruption 4,000 years ago, in addition to being able to see the crater, now still has bursts of white smoke and the smell of sulfur. In Owakudani, you can buy the legendary black jade, which can prolong life. It is said that eating one can prolong life by 7 years!

Day 6 - Explore Ghibli Park | Ghibli Park

Ghibli Park:Ghibli Park (ジブリパーク) is a theme park about the popular animated movies by Studio Ghibli. It opened in November 2022 just outside Nagoya, and unlike other theme parks does not feature any rides, but rather let's visitors delve into the atmospheric fantasy worlds presented in the various popular Ghibli movies.

Day 7 - Nagoya Full Day Tour&Transfer Kyoto by Shinkansen | Nagoya Castle, Toyota Kaikan Museum, SCMAGLEV and Railway Park

Nagoya Castle:Nagoya Castle was completed in 1615 by the Shogun, Tokugawa Ieyasu. Topped with golden shachihoko, votive tiger-fish roof devices, and boasting the largest floorspace of any tower keep, Nagoya Castle and its magnificent Hommaru Palace were operated as a military facility. Nagoya Castle was Japan’s first castle to be designated a National Treasure. Even after wartime air raid destruction, it was deemed historically important enough to be designated a National Historic Site. Restoration work being carried out is returning Nagoya Castle to original condition.

Toyota Kaikan Museum:The Toyota Kaikan Museum is the company's showroom. Visitors can learn about Toyota's latest vehicles and its philosophy of "producing happiness for all." New models are displayed in the showroom and information is available on CSR activities and the company's latest safety and environmental technologies.

SCMAGLEV and Railway Park:Opened in 2011, the SCMAGLEV and Railway Park is the railway museum of Central Japan Railways (JR Central). The museum seeks to educate visitors on the advances in high speed rail in Japan and displays a number of actual trains, including historic steam locomotives, world record setting experimental shinkansen (bullet train) and the latest magnetic levitating trains (maglev). Several dozen retired train cars are on display. Many of them can be entered or viewed from underneath, and are accompanied by a host of exhibits explaining the different parts of the trains and all aspects of their operation and maintenance. Another section of the museum is dedicated to maglev trains and JR Central's plans to construct a maglev high speed link between Tokyo and Osaka. The second floor of the museum also has lots of learning experiences, which are specifically geared toward young children.

Day 8 - Kyoto Full Day Classic tour | Higashi Honganji Temple, Sanjusangendo, Nishiki Market, Tea Ceremony

Unlike many sightseeing locations, Higashi Honganji Temple is still an influential place in modern religious practices, situated just east of another spot of interest, Nishi Honganji Temple. They functioned as a single temple complex, in fact, until shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu split them into east (higashi) and west (nishi) because he was afraid that as a single entity, their political power would grow too great.

Sanjusangendo is the popular name for Rengeo-in, a temple in eastern Kyoto which is famous for its 1001 statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy.  wooden statue of a 1000-armed Kannon (Senju Kannon) that is flanked on each side by 500 statues of human sized 1000-armed Kannon standing in ten rows.  Together they make for an awesome sight.

Nishiki Market is a narrow, five block long shopping street lined by more than one hundred shops and restaurants. Known as "Kyoto's Kitchen", this lively retail market specializes in all things food related, like fresh seafood, produce, knives and cookware, and is a great place to find seasonal foods and Kyoto specialties, such as Japanese sweets, pickles, dried seafood and sushi.Kyoto Tea Ceremony in Japan is one of the best and memorable experiences you can have!   Kimonos would normally be worn during traditional tea ceremonies.Our expert tea master and host, and friendly staff will demonstrate the process during the tea ceremony while explaining the significance behind it the steps and the tools.   You will get to learn about tea ceremony history, Kyoto, and tea ceremony etiquette.During the tea ceremony, you will not only observe how to make matcha green tea but you will also be guided on the process of making your own by the tea master.

Day 9 - Nara Full Day Excursion | Fushimi Inari Shrine, Ujigami Shrine, Street full of matcha, Byodoin Temple

Fushimi Inari Shrine/Red Torii Gates is an important Shinto shrine in southern Kyoto.  It is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates, which straddle a network of trails behind its main buildings.  The trails lead into the wooded forest of the sacred Mount Inari, which stands at 233 meters and belongs to the shrine grounds. Ujigami Shrine is believed to be the oldest standing shrine in Japan. Although there is no official record of when it was first constructed, experts estimate that Ujigami Shrine was well established by 1060. It was closely linked to Byodoin Temple as its "guardian shrine".Uji is famous for its green tea.  While Kozanji Temple in Kyoto is believed to be the original site of tea cultivation in Japan, Uji's tea became better known for its superior quality in the 1100s.There is a Street full of matcha, and you can shop here for souvenirs.Look on the front of a Japanese 10 yen coin and you'll see Byodoin Temple's famous Hou-ou-do Hall, also known as Amida Hall or Phoenix Hall. This building is one of the country's most well-known examples of Buddhist architecture and the only original structure of the Byodoin Temple complex that remains today.
