Where to shop in Hue?

The Dong Ba Market in the south-east of Hue, right next to the pier, is the main shopping destination in Hue and is rich in local specialities such as dried and fresh seafood and the famous Hue bucket hats. It is also famous for its glutinous rice paper and silk paintings. Prices are high and you can usually get them for a quarter of the price. The Dong Ba market opens at 6.30am and closes at 8pm.
