China Unveiling Guilin Natural Splendor

Begin your day by immersing yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the Longji Rice Terraces. Here, you’ll marvel at the stunning landscapes of tiered fields which have been sculpted over centuries by the local Zhuang and Yao communities.

Next, head to the picturesque Dazhai Village, nestled amidst the rice terraces. This charming village offers a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of the local Dazhai ethnic minority. You’ll check out the village's traditional wooden houses, interact with friendly locals, and learn about their customs and way of life. You’ll be able to hop on a cable car for a scenic ride around the village, where you’ll get spectacular aerial views of the rice terraces and surrounding mountains.

Conclude your day with a dinner made up of delicious local minority cuisine. You’ll dine on incredible traditional dishes such as oil tea, ciba: a flavorful and aromatic tea-based soup, and sticky rice cakes cooked inside a bamboo tube.

Discover the beauty of the city with visits to its famous landmarks. You’ll explore the Reed Flute Cave, an underground marvel shaped by nature, and admire the iconic Elephant Trunk Hill.

Immerse yourself in the heart of the city by exploring the serene lakes and vibrant central walking streets.

In the morning, you’ll travel to Zhujiang Pier to board the boat for a 5-hour cruise aboard the Li River.

Marvel at the stunning Karst peaks which surround the area, bend of the clear river under the blue sky where you can find grazing water buffalo, peasants working in rice paddies, and fishermen drifting by on bamboo rafts.

After the cruise, you’ll get to explore Yangshuo further and stroll along the famous West Street.

Today you will head to Yangshuo. En route, you will immerse yourself in the magic of Yangshuo. 

In the morning, you’ll be transported to your first stop of the day at Xianggong Hill.  Climb the hill, located on the west bank of the Lijiang River between Huangbu Shoal and Nine-Horse Mural Hill. Your uphill climb will be rewarded with a stunning bird's eye view of the Lijiang River winding through countless peaks.

Move on to Xingping to savor a delicious lunch, before you board a small boat from Xingping to Nine Horses Hill.  Head back to Xingping River Pier. At the end of your tour, transfer to your hotel in Yangshuo.

In 1987, former US President Jimmy Carter did a bike tour with his wife through the Yangshuo countryside. His legacy endures, as bicycling remains a top attraction in the city. Every summer, thousands of travelers continue to visit Yangshuo to experience the countryside just as he did. Today you’ll do the same. This tour will take you through breathtaking landscapes, including majestic mountains, rushing rivers, charming villages, and peaceful rural areas.

You will visit Yangshuo, Yima Village, Chaolong Village, Yulong River, Jiuxian Village, Dashi Village, MoonHill, and finally Aishan Village before returning to Yangshuo.
